then new psu too
i found it on marketplace
how much can you spend
200 budget GPU - 140 budget CPU - 100 budget PSU
in USD
do not do that
y?
MAX budget
im doing it in savings im only 15 with 140
$
and a ryzen 7 5700x is liek 120
which i think is good
not where i live
where i live its 120 on sale
the non 3d
yeah
but are you in the US?
yeah
my case is fuckin huge so i can get like any parts 🤷♂️
here you go just make sure to update the bios https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VmbXYd
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600, GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER, Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower
for the 5700X
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XpXPgn
if ound a ryzen with 8 cores for about the same price but its not bad
do cores matter for gaming?
which chip
5700X
yeah
more up to the game but not really
is it threads that matter?
you had maybe a handful
clock speeds like MHz?
6 core chips with 3d cache basically show you how much cores don't matter
yes but also something you cant see like IPC
4k does too :3
cuss i found a 5MHz for a good price
5600x3d/7600x3d
ill send the ss
9590 moment
you would need a new motherboard and ram
that uses LGA your stuff uses PGA
I would just save 25 or so and get the 7400f if you want to go am5
ddr4 is not compatible with am5
yes you will need ddr5 as well
does not have the budget nor is it worth it for him at all
and a am5 motherboard
ddr5 mad expensive
i think AM5 motherboards are also spendy
just get a r5 5600 or 5700X3D
best would just be the 5600 its going to be a massive uplift
just go for this list
whatever CPU is the best for my buck is what i wanna get
r5 5600
Ali aint no scam right
this seller is no scam
i aint ever bought no parts off there
szcpu store is also choice labeled that's basically going to give you no issues
it will just take around 2 weeks
im good with shipping just i dont know much about CPU's
if he goes used it should be cheaper
and i really think my GPU needs an upgrade bad
the one you have is usable but a r5 5600 and that rtx 2070 you found with the a650bn psu is what you should upgrade to
gpu first and since its a horrible psu psu too
k so my plan is to buy a 2070 super for $150 then save some more and then get a Ryzen 5 5600
do that sound good?
it honestly depends on what you play mostly and how you want to play your games
your psu would not be able to handle it
ill send a sheet of my spec
and the total volts
watts'
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1e6xD1aasbW4Y6CyVTWakSIQJwOxA0frDrB4u77ZS510/edit?usp=sharing
this more in depth
and upgrade ideas
dont mind the old parts selling
but i got 350 watts in my PSU and im only using 242
plus my PC is hella silent
anyways idk sry for overwelming or wtv im just pretty new to stuff like PC parts and all that but ik how to build
what games are you playing ?
that psu is a bomb
xd
the a650bn is 50$
and that one is a usable c tier psu
5 years of warranty too
I play csgo a lot apex some times and Fortnite barely, halo master chief collection and terraria, some times Garry’s mod
why play csgo a game without offical servers
Idk I just like it a lot because it takes genuine skill
does facit still have servers for it
I think they have their own servers
also bit sad we do not have skins for it well you know not really
do you just play it since you hate sub tick?
Nawh I play it because it’s not a really sweaty game and the mechanics are fun
wow this has gone on way too long
csgo and cs2 are different games
fyi csgo was mostly shutdown a year ago
I mean CS2 i just call it csgo
its now only cs2 that has any support from valve
good
but then upgrading to a 5700X3D will be the best move
well first gpu
your not
How would I calculate it I just used a website and most don’t even got my CPU as a option
anyways upgrading anything might blow up the psu
but might you be able to take a pic of this 350w psu
Yeah lemme open my pc up
Cuss idk if that is the exact psu I just took a guess
I think that’s the volts
well at least i know your in the US
Lmfaoo
you are correct
thats the voltage your home is running at
open the back panel and take a pic of the psu
Can you call and I can turn on cam I need a lil help
My case kinda hard to use
You don’t needa speak I js needa show u
no
Ok thas fine ig
I’ll send a pic of inside my pc
Thats inside
I’m getting the PSU out rn
other side
no you do not need to take it out
Ok lemme screw the screws back in😭
or well just take a pic of the psu since sometimes its on top of the psu how many watts it has
I don’t think I can see the top without taking it out
take a pic of the psu now
lift up the case and look under it but tbf you have carpeted floors
It has a stand ik I shouldn’t put it on carpet
but yeah if you look under you can see the filter for the psu fan
btw can you take the picture on the other side
But I didn’t know what it was for
Yeah just gimmie a sec im still screwing it in
well you do need to flip it
well you do not NEED to flip it but since the under side is not on carpet using the dust filter is a good move
well good news your psu claims to be 600w, bad news it looks like a bomb
Omg this whole time I thought it was 350 w
tbh it might only be able to do 350w before it goes kaboom
Why’s that?
Esgaming is the brand
never heard of em
I wanna trust the 600 watts so I light search more into it
its 540w MAX no matter what
Oh well 540 isnt bad
it is if its from a noname
I think I can get a new cpu or gpu without worry’s
get the a650bn
4060 maybe
Well if it’s like dead silent is it good?
Cuss my pc makes almost no noise with fans
the a650bn is a c tier psu with a 5 year warranty
and yeah it does not make a lot of noise
I was talkin bout my psu and fans
me too
Ohh ok
well the a650bn
But now that it’s out should I flip it over to face the ground or no
And it’s got warranty btw
does it have a warranty in case it kills the entire pc?
the fan should be facing the ground aka where the filter is
No its on the outside
its very normal for cheap PSUs like this to kill all the parts inside a computer
and is the main reason why you never ever cheap out on one
Idk if I should show warranty to everyone but I deleted the pic
its just a sticker
Well I’ve had my pc for about 3-4 months and nothing bad ever happened how long does it usually take?
Oh well where I live the most weather thats ever happened is rain🤷
i suspect the psu is maybe max 400-450w before it means certain doom for most of the other parts
I’m in a state that has virtually no natural disasters
So I think it’s safe to upgrade a cpu or gpu then when I upgrade one of those to switch my psu?
Or is that a bad idea cuss im mainly looking for an upgrade rather than a new PSU
you still have brownouts and power outages same with lightning
Lightnings a no power outage is rare cuss im in my own house and it’s not common where I am
well with that psu its like playing russian roulette so first change that
a650bn is 50$
Oh btw is it safe to just have a SATA drive laying loose in my pc?
ssd yes hdd no
Yea it’s ssd
then its fine
Oh wow ok
still had liquid paste after 10 years
I just got a tube laying around
but yeah best to do 3-5 years
Alr thas good 2 know
There’s some cables in my pc that aint plugged in and idk if that’s normal or not
COM-1 , TPMS , PCIE 1 , SPK_CI1 , and J1
oh and CLRCMOS1
And idk if my fans should be left and right or both on the same side
fans are good
not needed to be plugged in
okey just making sure\
my dog died litteraly just tonight
