Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, Corsair 3500X ATX Mid Tower
pick 4080 super build, have a good day
Uhm okay
No 50 series instead ?
Erm half the card probably runs of ai
theres a 5080 review out already, do you want to check?
can pass the link if u want
Sure
Nvidia unveiled the RTX 50-series range of GPUs at CES 2025, but we had the chance to take a quick look at DLSS 4 running on an RTX 5080 over the preceding holiday break. Here's a look at DLSS 4 super resolution and ray reconstruction improvements stacked up against the existing technology, plus a look at the new Frame-Gen 3x and 4x options and ...
theres also a 5090 one. i dont remember how the 5080 video goes about native settings without any dlss features but this 5090 review has a native 4k setting on cyberpunk
RTX 5090 Benchmark time! With DLSS 4, Frame Generation and Ray Tracing, PC Centric goes hands on with Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay, with Path Tracing at 4K, fps, frame rates and latency on Blackwell, RTX 5090 Founders Edition Noise test and initial review!

It’s only running and talking about ai generated frames
read my second post
Runs on ai means nothing. 50 series will see improvement based on better software implementation and classic perfs albeit less so.
What do you even have against ai generated frames ?
It is a mean to an end : displays shit nicely on your monitor
look at these in the video if u wanna skip framegen
Not every games support dlss
listen, it does not run on ai
dlss is only a way to improve performance at the cost of slight visual quality loss, you dont need any of the features to run any game good
and dlss means like 5 things right now
only "ai" thing about dlss is framegen, whether its 2x-3x-4x
Not getting an ai cards that’s final
are you listening at all?
Very few dont. Those that dont often dont need it
No
How old are you ?
if you really think dlss stands for ai, 20 series and up all have dlss
including amd cars
but their "dlss" isnt named as dlss
Any cards come with ai based generation now. Because its f-ing good. All RTXes, all AMDs
its trained with ai, it doesnt use ai in the gpu
you'd need a few server racks to truly run ai in a game properly
Training a frame gen model still is called broadly AI in the consumer market buzz words unfortunately
Hence why either very young or older consumers tend to be upset about it whenever someone else is on the internet
im not even telling him to get 50 series cards, hes doing a build rn and 50 series cards come out at like end of jan if not middle of 2nd month
but atleast listen to what people who know these say when they talk
meanwhile its not even sensible to get 50 series cards since 40 series cards are quite cheap on used market
In the US mainly 😭
and 50 series cards will be like $100-200+ over msrp
im in south-east europe and i can find a 4090 strix 600w model white color for $1400...
27% worse than 5090 for 35.3% price drop
and that is if youre lucky enough to get 5090 for msrp 😂
it costing 2k doesnt mean it wont be bought out in matter of minutes if not seconds
he straight up left
how does dlss actually work tho
which one?
^
whatever they mean by this bs
marketing bullshit, nothing else.
is it some kinda driver-software side thing?
read what i wrote but with 100% literal meaning of it
So i dont really need to bother
with what
yup
think of 50 series cards as "40 series cards but newer and stronger"
just like u should for every new generation of nvidia cards
But at the same price
if not a lil better
right?
listed msrp yes
real life prices will be 100 to 200 over it at "least"
