Where do you have the monitor plugged in to?
↑ that, and also
What is the hardware in question -- the CPU model, the GPU model and the monitor model would be important in particular
RX580
^
That, and also
Do you have any motherboard LEDs shining or a memory error
Try different RAM slots if you have a memory light shining on your motherboard
E5-1650
Oh and make sure your monitor is plugged into your GPU, the GPU does not pass through to the Motherboard graphics
I am not that dumb
Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay...
We'll need
A list of specs, including the motherboard
I'm starting to think the GPU and motherboard are simply incompatible
OR the bios hasn’t been updated for the new CPU
Also, which component would this be?
Motherboard: JY-X79M
Intel Xeon CPU
Ahh, I see
The GPU should be perfectly compatible since most motherboards that support the E5-1650 have standard GPU support for those cards
I’d bet it’s the RAM, or your cable you’re using to connect the GPU to your monitor
Also try switching your monitor’s input, some monitors don’t automatically select inputs
Yup, just checked
It's PCIe 3.0 and has like a million lanes (40)
This is the motherboard
Try a different memory configuration.
That slot layout has been problematic for me before
I’ll try unplugging one of the memory stick
