Hey, I've been doing small upgrades over the years however the time has come to replace the majority of my rig. My current setup is as follows:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
Motherboard: Gigabyte AX370-Gaming K7 (AM4)
RAM: 64GB DDR4 "2600 MT/s
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 Ti

I use my machine for professional development (Rider, Webstorm, Docker), Gaming, and hobby game development. I'm planning to keep the case, SSDs, GPU, and PSU.

This is what I have planned to buy after some research however it's been a while so I want to make sure I haven't fallen into any gotchyas. I should mention I do plan on upgrading my GPU but I don't need to just yet it works fine.:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
Cooler: Noctua NH-D15
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix X670E-E Gaming WIFI (Socket AM5)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 64GB (2X32GB) DDR5 PC5-51200C40 6400MHz Dual Channel

Need a new motherboard that support AM5, DDR5, and has multiple NVME slots.

Also has built-in 2.5GB ethernet

Looks like a solid option for sure. I've never had a micro-ATX board before so that also opens some extra options for smaller cases in the future.,

ddr5 6400 is max they do 1:1 on good one 8000 2:1 on good one

Understood. I was thinking about getting the same things as what I originally said, but replacing the motherboard with the one you recommended.
