1 month and 27 days after this new build my pc suddenly started restarting itself rapidly 3 times and then started to smoke …. I pulled the plug and took it to repair/fix apparently something is PSU popped and it started to leak an oily substance…..warranty covered it.
3 weeks after they replaced the PSU with another of the same kind the pc wouldnt start i discovered it triggered my rooms breaker/ fusebox i tried to flip it back it wouldnt unless i unplugged the pc and if i would plug it back it the fusebox/ breaker thing would re(close)/ flip off again (my room only not the whole house) I thought my room had something wrong so i decided to plug it in another room, and then as soon i did booom I saw a spark and it blew with a smell of popcorn.
Before this pc ive had another it would run fine for years not of the same strength (1080ti) but fine I have other appliances that run fine in the room
I took it to repair and they claim it is fine as when they replace the part it “runs fine” demanding that i pay both this and the past PSU since” it is not their builds fault” i have a feeling it is, but uncertain
The problem always comes in late i am not sure as what is going on is it overheating? Is it me? Or is it the build?
