I dont know the uk market, but i am seeing that 7600xt for 400 euros and a 4060 for 280 that is a way overblown price for a 7600xt compared to a 4060 you should try to get a b580 if its around 250-300 DOLLARS although its in and out of stock in the us so whatever ur luck is. The b580 outperforms the 7600xt and the 4060 for a lower price, its gud

U could get a less powerful psu like a 750 or 650 watt, but if u plan to upgrade the psu u picked is a solid choice

@torpid jackal would you reccomend upgrading to a r5 7600?

I actually reccomend a 7500f its found on aliexpress for 100-120 dollars which is way less that the 7600 and will give you marginally less performance, if u get it from a reputable seller it wont scam u and u will have smth that will perform about the same as a 7600

I also thought u had cheaper ram, that ram is a name brand fancy ram, wont give extra performance but is not bad, there are def cheaper good options

Am5 will also be an AMAZING upgrade path

Viable am4 cpus dont have a upgrade, the 5000 series is the end of the line for am4 and to get smth better you need to get a new mobo and ram, am5 however has 7000 and 9000 series processors with support to AT LEAST 2027 i would get am5 if u can afford it because it will be better now and better later, just a tad more expensive now but the 7500f’s amazing price will help that

Also in the us you can get a b650 mobo for 150$ 119 pounds idk abt the uk tho
