Hello, there's a problem with my desktop pc, sometimes when I accidentally hit that case a small hit, it turns off, and then when I try to turn it on again it keeps trying to turn on, failing and restasrting, without anything booting.
And this only gets solved if I uninstall and reinstall the cpu again.
Is there any cases u know like this, and why is it happening?

Wait

#

You hit your PC case?

#

And then it keeps turning on but it's stuck in a loop?

This problem happened a couple of times, and yes I hit it accidentally when I was moving my leg

#

It's not that strong of a hit

#

It's stuck in a loop I hear the fan starting to work then it fails and restart, nothing on the screen cus it didn't boot

But yeah I mean if it works after you take out the cpu and put it back in

#

Wait

#

Is it still having this issue now

#

Or did taking out the cpu and putting it back in solve it?

frigid rover
#

That's the very strange thing

#

Anything else like doing that for the RAM, FAN, BIOS, nothing fix it

#

But if I hit the pc accidentally again, sometimes the same problem happens and it's so annoying

#

Maybe possibly moved it by eversolittle which may have caused the issue

It's a strange one

Yeah, like really..

pearl robin
#

But just make sure your cpu is tightly in its socket

#

Make sure that it all locks properly and that the cooler is tightened down correctly, like it's strange

frigid rover
#

It is, I'm making sure, maybe the socket got old and that's causing that problem?

What motherboard do you have

frigid rover
#

It's old ik, it works for me though

pearl robin
#

Unless there is corrosion or rust or something

#

But it is a possibility that it's old

#

However hard to tell

Then it should be fine
