#can someone help my identify if these fans are pwc or dc

I think you should be able to tell by their connector or by going into the bios and seeing if you can control them there
i changed the speed in the bios but idk if it actually changed anything
i could choose between pwc and dc modes
idk where theyre connected
If you can do that then they are pwc. Why do you want to change the speed? Your temps are bad or the noise?
the gpu overheated a little bit one time and i figured id crank it up to avoid it happening on heavier games
idk if this helps idk if theyre connected to the motherboard or not i didnt build it D:
ohh I see. And my bad I was wrong. Um to check if it is pwm or dc, pwm has 4 pin connector and a dc has 3 pin. But the only difference between the two is that pwm gives you more precise control of the fan speed
yeah idk where theyre connected so i cant look at how many pins there are
i sent a picture of my motherboard for that reason
it is kinda of blury, but you see your CPU fan connector, it looks just like that one
should be able to find one that looks like that
my phone kinda sucks sorry
this thing has 4 cables in it and is the same colour as the fans
but it shouldn't matter much whether it's pwm or dc. Just crank up the speed higher, run a GPU benchmark, and monitor your temps
see if they improve
i set it to turbo on pwc mode
idk
i was scared setting it to pwc mode when my fans are dc would fuck something up somehow
does this help at all? @plush beacon
I think this is the fan. Pull that out see what the port looks like
if there are pins sticking up then that is the one
