Is there a way to scan liike issues with my PC?
Update removing my second monitor (which i have used for a long time, but I was using a new HDMI cord) has fixed the lag
IDK why though
Nvm that didnt help
I dont know what to do
Have you updated your bios ?
Yes I found the issue finally
it was the microsoft game input software was causing the crash so I had to delete it
and reinstal it
atleast so far it is fixed
I will keep this open till I am 100 percent sure it is fixed
Yep still crashing
Idk what to do
Give me your full Spec sheet (Cpu, gpu, ram, motherboard and PSU and if it randomly crashes or if it's at specific scenarios like gaming @formal harness
Random crashes
Ryzen 5 3600
Gtx 2060
4x8 32 gigs gskill ripjawz ddr4 3600 speed(not running at 3600 for now)
Asrock b450m Steel Legend
650w gold cert corsair cpu
When it crashes is it a BOsd or a complete shutdown?
Did you upgrade Windows 10 or install windows 11 fresh
Shut down
Upgrade windows 10
Did you have this before the upgrade or only after because it most likely could be a faulty PSU
Only after
But the psu was fine prior to this
And the bios is lagging as well after the ipdate to windows 11
But it was fine before
Upgrading from one version to another in Windows for my long IT career I found its best to do a fresh install and then you have a baseline of where you know where you’re starting if you have an extra hard drive you could put that in and do the fresh installof Windows 11 as I know it’s not as easy for some people to do the fresh install because of all the applications they might have on their computer
Okay so the issue was that my cpu was overheating (no clue why a windows update caused such) but I got a new cpu cooler and its all good now
I went to geek squad as I work at bestbuy and get help for a reduced cost
Glad it worked out
Yeah no clue how a windows update led to a cpu overheating
Windows might change the power delivery to the cpu in some ways causing it to be higher and raising temperature too
