#gpu upgrade giving less fps

i have just upgraded from a 1060 6gb to a 3070 and in cs2 i was getting 150 fps on the 1060 but now im getting only 70fps with the 3070, io have a ryzen 5 3600x 500w psu and arous x470 mobo, 16gb ddr4 ram. i have used UDD on safe mode to remove the drivers and installed the latest nvidia drivers, i have done this 2 times and i still get the same fps. any ideas on how to fix this?

is your hdmi/displayport cable plugged into the gpu?

it sits at 20-30% useage inside of cs

if i use low settings and ultra settings ikt gives the same fps

I would google this "rtx 3070 low fps in games" keep it simple forget what game it is and just look for an overall fix since you didnt mention if it happens in other games too

Check if you have Vsync enabled

cause there are 70hz monitors out there

and check display settings if you set your refresh rate
