I got a question, my pc runs all my games at 200 fps + at high settings and everything that I would want it to do ; while playing, it still feels choppy and too high quality to the point where it feels laggy even tho my fps counter says I should be fine. Is there any idea why thats happening? If its a monitor thing then im slightly confused as I never experienced this issue until yesterday
This would be for games like Marvel Rivals, BO6 and elden ring.

I have GTA open and just tried comparing V sync vs no V sync and there seems to be more frame drops when v sync isn't on and I notice tearing.
Would this mean that its just a monitor issue?

that would likely be why, your pc is trying to output 200fps when you turn vsync on it would be limiting it to 60 fps even though you dont see that limit on the steam fps counter
what are your pc specs?
mind you with vsync on it should limit to 60 fps and show it on steam fps counter

DP im assuming is the one from the GPU?
display port and hdmi are the two modern standards for video cables

dp and hdmi have different throughputs, though both would be limited but your montior
