how is a 240mm compared to an aircooler
On a rough average estimate, close to dual tower coolers.
the clearance is also kinda low at 160
i was looking the the nhd15 but sadly its 165 clreance
What country are you in?
us
Phantom Spirit tends to be the best value cooler out there.
It should fit in the 205 with a couple mm of clearance
haha fits with 3mm to spare
are there any aios you recommend
i just want to weigh my options
both id say
are these the right ones?
im not sure if im looking wrong but its kinda hard to find it
Hm. Plenty of options at the 240mm AIO. 280mm is more limited but there's better cooling generally.
Thermalright has plenty of awesome 240mm AIOs on the budget side. Aqua Elite, Notte, Frozen Prism, and the Frozen Infinity.
Arctic Liquid Freezer III at the 240 + 280mm size are about the best you can get, but they're pricier.
I get my Thermalrights off amazon.

do you think id have to unscrew the backplate with the new one i currently have a gammax gt blk
Do you have an LGA 1700 build or something?
i have a i7 10700k so i think lga 1200
You will, just checked the manual.
yeah i think ok
It should come with its own custom backplate to use for mounting
oh ok thanks a lot
gonna be hasstle but i guess ill have to do it
hey is there any big difference compared to the se vs non-se, from what found it doesnt seem to matter. The non se version for me ships a lot faster than teh se
Not at all. Non SE is 157mm compared to the 154mm of the SE model is all because of the plates covering the heat pipes.
