So basically what you have here is the motherboard saying that it detected a change in hardware or your CMOS was cleared. You don't really have to do anything unless you were running an overclock on your CPU and maybe had memory timing like XMP or EXPO enabled. If you haven't messed with your bios much you can just hit F2 to load the defaults and everything should be fine.
I don’t
ok yea just press F2 for now
If it's an old computer there is a tiny battery on the motherboard you could replace but it won't matter too much if you don't in your specific case
Lately when I’ve been playing games sometimes my pc will just randomly go black and there’s buzzing noise in my headphones and then restart
I bought it on fb marketplace in April 5600g 7800xt 32 gb 3600
The buzzing noise is probably from the computer and audio drivers crashing
how long as it been happning
A month
also 5600g and 7800 xt is a mad bottleneck
100%
whoever built that pc is goofy
It was $700
Yeah
the 5600g is AM4 correct?
That’s what I was thinking when I bought it
yea
Yeah
i just got a 5900x not long ago, works perfect with my rx 6600
U like juice wrld?
U see him in Fortnite?
U know why my pc could be restarting like that tho?
as the other guy said, its likely audio drivers crashing
🙏
How would I fix that’s
reinstalling audio drivers
Some times when it crashes my screen goes blue too
Yeah
@verbal badge would you know what could be causing blue screen
Honestly it could be a number of things. When I had blue screens it was often due to memory issues.
I had issues with a Gskill 3200mhz 32gb
I have Corsair
It was two kits put together but something happened to the old dimms and they ended up failing the windows memory test
I mean thats pretty solid memory
btw what did you change for the cmos to detect a hardware change?
I just reseated some cords to try and fix the restarting
i see
And I turned it back on and that was there
it would see that as fully changing the part cos when the psu is still getting power it powers the parts slightly
If you completely turned off the power and the CMOS battery is dead it's likely that's what caused the message
Yeah i agree with that
I mean those tiny coin cells only last for so long so it wouldn't surprise me
yea
my motherboard was used and ive had it for 4 years now
no issues with cmos bat so far
but yea i mean the cmos message is nothing to worry about
the restarting cos be multiple things, recently when i upgraded my cpu, it was overheating and would hit its max of 95c and restart
until i undervolted and boosted the clock, had much better temps since
went from 80-90c while gaming to like a max of 70c
Ouch... What cooler are you using?
