any error text?
we just tried running as administrator + disable full screen optimization' also didnt work
no, just stays like that forever
did you restart the pc after downloading the game
we where able to make it crash rn, but the even viewer just gave the error as uknown
before it gave the error 0xc0000005
yeah, but i can ask him to restart again
whats his operating system
look at the bottom
if he has any 3rd party antivirus(aka anything besides windows defender) tell him to disable that
windows 10, installed yesterday
no just microsoft
amd ryzen 7 7800X3D + Radeon RX 7800 XT + corsair RM75e
yeah, he used to play elden ring all the time on his old pc
what res is he playing at
i think so at least
1080p i believe
but we cant even enter the game to change the resolution if we wanted
motherboard is a tuf gaming B650 plus
try these for now
after that, do this
I've came to rescue everyone who is struggling with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bug, that shows the white screen and then the game crashes. First of all, i've tried every single fix on the internet, going from repair visual c++ to verifying the game, restarting pc and veryfing the game again and simply nothing worked.
in case u want to check
i saw that but got worried it might damage something '
you can undo it, its not a delete process
alright take ur time
ok so
when he tried to open it now, it appeared a steam service error
sorry for the badquality, its a print from a discord stream
we pressed install
ok game opened
what can we deduce ?
what
its a question sorry
bilingual
what conclusions can we take from the fact its workin
what caused the fix before you opened the game?
this
then the steam service error after restart
and the game opened
so
isnt there a chance that disabling all those things might create problems in the long run ?
is there a way to just give the perms to the game
prob no
try undoing what u did
well, at least its working
yeah we trying that rn
its just so wierd
and having to restart the pc just makes it annoying to troubleshoot wich one of the services is the culprit
yeah the problem is back
rip
we gonna try and find this one
sure, have fun
but what are msconfig services ?
wah?
unsure, google likely knows very deeply
