#Building New Pc, what GPU should i get. RTX 4060ti 8gb or AMD Radeon 6800xt 16gb

if its available in your country, i would lean mor e towards the 6750 GRE
otherwise, 7700xt or 6750 xt is on the table as well
usually VRAM is really important nowadays, but if ur playing only competitive games on 1080p, thats not the case.
in that sense, the 4060 with 8GB would be a great choice, but on top of gettign the lowest VRAM, u also get the lowest performance of the other listed cards. in trade off for... features u wont be making great use of and... saying u have a newest series nvidia card
i guess u can sell them with less losses usually than amd cards once u upgrade "hurray"
not really but i would like to have something which will last me a very long time
i have a gtx 1080 which is a fair gpu and a i7-6700 with 16gb of ram
if its competitive FPS most likely the CPU upgrade will already give u a nice boost so u can wait for prices to drop
especially valorant and fortnite
In that case go with the 6800xt. Quite a bit more powerful when it comes to raw performance
Although by playing 1080p you most likely will not get the full use out of it or be able to max it out as easy
with the 6800xt u pay so much for VRAM though
i'd much rather consider 6750 GRE or xt or 7700
I agree. A mid-high end gpu wont be awesome for medium 1080p settings, but if you decide to play other games in the future, especially powerful games, then the vram could help future proof the card for a while
that is true, but especially with the intel GPU releases and CES around, stickign with the 1080 would be my choice, wait for prices to fall and if u still only play competitive games
if u lean more towards singleplayer or in general GPU intesive game, u can still get a 16GB card which is amazing for that with the 6800xt being one of the best, not too pricy 16gb cards
although 7900 GRE is not too far away and that thing is just a hell of a beast
its already close to going gelow 500 USD, good chance it actually breaks that mark once CES is over
can someone give me a good US price comparison site btw?
pcpp has the cheapest one at 460 USD xD
the compatibility features are great, but holy shit they are missing so many offers
6800xt
