#Half-Build (CPU+Mobo+Ram+Case+?Cooler?+?PSU?) on a budget-ish

It's finally time for me to step away from my Ryzen 5 2600, may it rest in peace.
I really dislike waiting for the next great thing, so I am building something that is good now, and will be good in the future.
Let's start with my dreaded b and p words (budget and price). Theoretically speaking budget limits are decently high, but I want something that fits my use case (being gaming primarily, but also multitasking a bunch of different things). To put things into perspective, when I bought my RTX 3070 Aorus Master in september of 2022, I had the option (and capability) to buy any GPU currently available (up to 3090TI), but this was plenty for my needs.
I am primarily looking into 9800X3D (since it is a beast, and might as well do it). I am also fine with 7800X3D, but the prices jumped so much that it's not worth it compared to 9800X3D.
I have no idea what motherboard I am looking for. I do not plan to overclock or put in insane amounts of fast SSDs, network cards and similar things.
This will be paired with 3070 that I already own.
I am looking at 2x16GB of RAM (possibly even 2x32GB if the price difference is small enough).
I am looking for a case that's available in Europe (Serbia to be more precise, but I can probably get my hands on anything available in Europe in general). This just needs to be big enough, having space for a couple of HDDs would help, but not mandatory.
For the cooler I already have "Arctic Cooling Freezer 34 eSports DUO", and if it does the job, that would be great, if it doesn't I would go with something quiet and reliable.
For the PSU I have SAMA Armour 650W 80+ Gold modular.

Additional information: I don't care about flashy things. For my case I want a side window (primarily so I can see if there is any smoke in there and similar :D). I don't care about RGB or anything else. I just want things to be compatible, reliable, and preferrably quiet, although this is not too important. Any and all suggestions are welcome 🙂

Some additional information:
I am playing on 1440p, but I have duo (soon to be) triple monitor setup at 1440p.
I don't look too much at bottlenecks, those can be fixed at a later date (for example 32-64GB of RAM might be overkill, but the price difference should be small enough that I would rather have the extra RAM then think about it).

use case? total budget?

#

also any storage moving?

Use case is primarily gaming, but I tend to do a lot of multitasking. The only thing I am not doing is 3D rendering, video editing and similar.
I don't really have a total budget. Some rough numbers I was looking at:
CPU 9800X3D 580 euros
Motherboard 100-150 euros
RAM 100-150 euros
Case the lowest possible with enough room and airflow, don't care much about aesthetics (something simple, not a spaceship is the only requirement)
Cooler up to 100 euros if needs changing, but I would rather keep this one
PSU up to 100 euros if needs changing, but I would rather keep this one (100 euros if it's enough, I don't mind spending more for something more stable, but again, I don't need anything fancy)
So all together let's call it 1000 euros max, but I would rather keep it in the lower range if possible.

I will be moving a bunch of storage probably (1 M.2, 3 SATA SSDs and possibly a couple of HDDs (although this is not a requirement)).

might need a sata card considering the board only comes with 4 sata ports

Is that Thermalright cooler that much better than what I already have?

it's gonna be better for the 9800x3d yeah

Would it be better if I went along the lines of ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 360?

that's up to you

I was against AIOs in the past, but they got much more reliably

marble pine
#

but that's a price gap that isn't exactly worth it

#

the ps-evo is one of the best air coolers out there that isnt noctua lmao

All in all this seems great to me. The only thing I don't like is this much money for a case to be honest. I'll check the availability of these parts in Serbia (and prices which tend to be insane :/)

but it's entirely up to you

If I can find it here, I will probably just go for it. It's a one time purchase in my mind, every next build can reuse the case as long as it's good. My current case was really cheap and quite frankly horrible 😄

Thakn you for the suggestions!
