Budget Laptop Research

I am compiling a list of budget laptops for ranges of $1000, $700, and $500. I am doing this so the non-tech enthusiasts I know can get a good laptop (mainly students). I have spent a good week researching but every laptop I find has some flaw that has for example Intel UHD graphics that cant run games in the $1000 category. I am doing this all in CAD and was wondering if anyone knows any tried and true laptops?

3 main keys when I'm looking for a laptop

1. Must be less rhan 15" (preferably 14)
2. Battery Performance (more than 5 hours AT LEAST)
3. Sturdy frame (doesnt bend easily)

Lenovos are by far the best, Dell comes in 2nd Place.

Don't look for a HP. Had one, i7 10th gen brand new and components died one after snother...

I have already figured that... I just have issues with the iGPU always being too weak to run many games.

Found a Dell with a quadro and an i7 7th gen HQ Edition for only 250$. 6 hours of battery life.

You're not getting a good laptop that can also run games for less than $1500 US

At $1000 US, you can get an excellent 7-class thin and light, or a 5-class gaming laptop that still has compromises

You and your students are going to be much better off with 16GB of RAM and an Intel UHD tied to an i7

That RTX 3050 is simply not worth it in comparison

The UHD aka Intel Iris Xe and AMD Radeon iGPUs nowadays do pack enough punch to do some gaming

I mean Genshin at 60FPS level of gaming
