While playing CS2 it suddenly lags so bad, and when i check the max temp of my cpu hits 100C. I restarted the computer, played for 30 mins and tested every game and the problem goes away... what happened here??

I don’t know that it’s the problem, but do it anyway. Intel motherboards had a problem with pumping way too much voltage into CPUs causing them to fail.

Like i was having 46C most of the time until it lags like crap then ive checked it hit 100C

Idk how long ive been running it for 90 to 100C but ive only noticed it when it lags so bad, then i restarted the PC, suddenly everything is resolved

It also has power limits (I hate that there needs to be an update to get out-of-the-box settings out of the box)

Oh yeah, one more thing. The funny thing is, this incident happened when i play CS2 at a capped 60fps (i know its weird playing competitive game at 60). When i try again after the restart, i uncapped the fps and maxed everything out, it didnt happen again. The temps were below 65C. I tried to recreate the problem by testing heavier games but to no avail. I dont know if thats an important detail but i feel like i have to tell
