My uncle's mac took a 💩 on him while he was editing a video, and he's wanting a new pc that isn't a mac. I made this parts list here and I would like to hear input from others on what I could make better. The system would be primarily for live streaming, video editing, and occasional gaming (nothing crazy)

So your parts list.. You're using a ton of generic parts, and the performance isn't there

#

Like, you have no reason to use AM4 when your budget clearly allows AM5

#

Or a 500GB ssd that costs 80 dollars

The budget is ideally around $1,000

the US is infact not the only country on earth

I was struggling with what CPU/GPU to choose because I haven't really built a system on my own since the ryzen 2000 series was new on the block

Compared to the list you suggested, this one has the newer AM5 platform, so you get DDR5, Ryzen 7000/9000 support, which means a better CPU.

The GPU is also newer, it's an AMD graphics card, with 12GB of VRAM. Unlike the RTX 3060, the RX 7700XT can play at 1440p with no performance issues.

As for the rest, the storage drive is a much bigger 1TB drive
The case is from Lian Li, it's a great case.. and yeah
