#building a pc

Hey just one question what country are you in
america
and yes i have a microcenter like 10 minutes away from me
Okay great
yup
i wnat to use one of these bundles from amd microcenter
wait
should i get this
it doesnt seem bad
It's a great combo if you're willing to spend more on the rest of the build because the combo is exactly your budget
yea ok budget can be 1500
ill go for perfomrance based
ill just get a all black case with some wood on it and thats it
fractal maybe
im not sure how to add bundles to pcp
do you think it would run my games well tho?
Here's a minimum standard(ish) build with the bundle. It's a bit over $1500, but you'd be compromising your performance a bit going with other stuff.

Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 7900 XT, Montech XR ATX Mid Tower
Thank you so much this works perfect
what case would you reccomend thats not a fishtank or mostly has no glass but good air
flow
NZXT H5 Flow (2022)?
tempered glass seems nice
If you go with this bundle https://www.microcenter.com/product/5006709/amd-ryzen-7-7800x3d,-asus-b650-e-tuf-gaming,-gskill-flare-x5-series-32gb-ddr5-6000-kit,-computer-build-bundle you can have a better cooler. This is an option https://pcpartpicker.com/list/s3zpjH
oh wow thanks man and i can even get the case i want
P3 plus is bad. qlc nand
hm
do you think its worth it to invest in a 7900xtx
also what do you think the pricing would be for the 5080 super
no clue what the 5080 pricing will be. wdym "invest"? buy a gpu based on the performance you need right now.
Honestly look at performance benchmarks and pick the GP that's best for your case scenario. No idea what the pricing is going to be for the 5000 series
GPU*
can 7900xt run 4k
because higher quality and looks nicer
pretty much it
Okay
is 4k worth it
not personally. id rather have the extra frames of 1440p
but if you play more singleplayer games that you want high fidelity on, 4k is fine
ok thanks
i cant find it on pcpp
wdym
you mean pcpartpicker doesnt say its qlc?
it doesnt say any the nand type at all that i know of
it is qlc though, which is bad for a boot drive
for a game drive or something like that, it would be perfectly fine
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 7900 XT, Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower
for this one
is it possible to put it into one of those mini pc cases
like the super small ones
Wdym
Yes, and? What can’t you find on pcpartpicker?
nvm
which case do u reccomend
itx i think
You can’t without an itx motherboard. You currently have atx, which is why too big
Atx case?
do i sacrifice a lot of performance with itx motherboard
No, probably none. You might spend more though, and have worse cooling to get itx
Why do you want itx anyway
7900xt ain’t fitting in most itx cases
whats the smallest atx case
not about price and would the atx motherboard fit in matx
ah
i just want the microcenter bundle to save the money tho
and i think those are only atx
also what about 011 air mini
The Corsair 3000D probably has one of the smallest footprints. You will need to check gpu clearance though
It’s kinda bad value though
Except for size
yea
Cooler Master QUBE 500
is this one good
Seems pretty good
do u think it looks good
Visually?
yea
this is another one
Idk, it’s pretty unique. If you like the look, that’s great. The case is a big personal preference
what about this wierd chinese company one ive never hear of
is the screen high quality
and is the screen an extension of my destop or is it like part of the case kinda
nvm
would these small type cases be difficult for a first timer
It’s high ppi (pixels per inch). A lot higher than a 24” 1080p monitor
It’s part of the case but plugs in like a normal display
I don’t know what the build experience is in them so I can’t tell
ag
ah
1280x800. It's fine for gifs/temps and stuff.
should i do xtx or 4080 super
Depends on what you do more of in terms of gaming vs productivity (literally only 3D modeling/AI work).
well i dont do 3d models
XTX would be fine. Make sure you have a sufficient power supply, and swap that P3 plus to something like an XG7000 or Patriot Viper VP4300 Lite if you're buying a 1TB NVME.
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 7900 XTX
Are you still looking for a case? This is already a decent bit above 1500.
forget about 1500
and yes im still thinking about a case
any recomendations
I mean, that's subjective. What aesthetic are you into?
um i like the fractal wood one, i dont want like the colorful rgb i want a black case
How do you feel about a case like this?
Not in a performance standpoint, it's just really pricey is all.
Side: 3 x 120mm or 2 x 140mmBottom: 3 x 120mmRear: 1 x 120mmRADIATOR SUPPORT: Top: 1 x 360/280/240mmSide: 1 x 360/280/240mmBottom: 1 x 240mm (360mm with fan at the bottom)DRIVE SUPPORT: Tray: 2 × 2.5” SSDBottom: 1 × 2.5” SSD or 1 × 3.5” HDDGPU LENGTH CLEARANCE: Max 415mmCPU HEIGHT CLEARANCE: Max ...
oh thats matx
That's not bad, but it's an mATX case.
yea
It's up to you to make your final call on the case since it's subjective.
this case is quite cool but very expensive https://www.amazon.com/Mechanic-penetrating-Motherboard-Portable-Computer/dp/B0CS68ZV4L?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&smid=A2BCJWMOOKLX7F&th=1
1.ATX/M-ATX swicthable panels allows better water-cooling solutions 2. Modular design, dual layer construction makes the case stronger, easier to customize, and a lot more fun to build. 3. Portable by design, optional handle included makes carrying the case a lot easier. 4. DIY focused, multiple ...
if you've got... $200 to burn.
i dont think its worth it for 200
You can check out the thermaltake tower 500 if you want
is this build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/m4X48Q with this case. https://www.amazon.com/JONSPLUS-Micro-ATX-Detachable-High-Performance-Compatible/dp/B0CWQK3LMB?ref_=ast_sto_dp
