#Laptop not booting after changing drive and ram

How long did you wait after pressing the power button?
It needs to do memory training for the new module(s), so it might take a minute or two to show any signs of activity (aside from the power button LED)
i see.. i'll try this tomorrow
ok so i put the new parts back in and powered it on 3 hours ago and its still not booting up
Did you load windows into the new drive?
i havent
i dont have a second pc to flash windows into it
i thought it could at least post so i can go into bios and change the boot order to my flash drive
You should still be able to boot into bios
Pc is turning on correct?
Laptop manufacturers logo shows too atleast?
Idk what key it may be for your laptop spam press F2 or the delete key when your pc is turning on
So you could get into bios
no it doesn't
it simply just doesn't display anything
but the power button light is on
U think u might’ve knocked a ribbon cable?
i think i found the culprit?
thats the display flex cable
its missing a pin/trace (wtv those are called)
is this what causing my screen to not display anything?
wait apparently its fine?
i'll clean everything and try assembling it together again
its still not disppaying anything
check if the RAM is seated properly
that might be a culprit too
ram is properly seated
