My lenovo laptop wont boot/post after i replaced the drive and ram. I bought a 256gb ssd and an 8gb ram to upgrade from the 512gb hdd and 4gb ram in my laptop. I replaced them both and after i pressed the power button it seems to not boot.

#

currently i just replaced both back and it also doesnt boot

How long did you wait after pressing the power button?

#

It needs to do memory training for the new module(s), so it might take a minute or two to show any signs of activity (aside from the power button LED)

You should still be able to boot into bios

#

Pc is turning on correct?

#

Laptop manufacturers logo shows too atleast?

#

Idk what key it may be for your laptop spam press F2 or the delete key when your pc is turning on

#

So you could get into bios

#

do i have to open up the screen

#

i think i found the culprit?

#

thats the display flex cable

#

its missing a pin/trace (wtv those are called)

#

is this what causing my screen to not display anything?

autumn echo
#

#

i'll clean everything and try assembling it together again

autumn echo
