display not working

Hey um my monitor just won't display anything no start up, just a pure black screen. It's not a connection issue since it won't even show me anything but a black screen, it's saying it's on like a white light but nothin

My pc detects in seen in display settings, but it won't show any sort of picture, no logo, no display menu, as it it just shows a black screen and a white or idle indicator light

Ill prob just have to buy a new monitor but I don't even wanna think about that so I'll just go to bed, too broke to worry bout it rn

I've had similar issues in the past with a few monitors, usually the solution to fix this is to completely unplug the monitor from the wall, hold down the power button for a little while and just leave it alone for a few minutes.
After that, plug everything back in and see if it starts working again.

If not, then try a different cable, different ports... Etc.

Ye it might've just been a static in the brick due to the outage

Yeah, I checked the voltage, and just had to let it off so it regulated

Having lingering low voltage caused the monitor to read it as being low and components in it didn't function correctly. Now it works

I figured it out since the backlight worked and the indicator showed it's state. So having one component not working was either that one thing needs repair or an issue with improper power draw
