i haven't added a case, i don't tend to do this as it's very much a matter of personal preference and for the amount shipping usually costs on a lower end build your best bet is to either find a case at a shop near you where you don't need to pay for shipping or find a second hand pc (if you can be sure it has an atx case) and use that
or just use the motherboard box, this is also an option
isnt it better to use ddr4 instead of 5 and use the money to get a better cpu

13th gen and 14th gen are not a better cpu with all of the failures at the moment
Isn't the i5 less prone to the issue
And intel u have 3 yrs of warranty and they extended it by 2 yrs
they're all prone enough that it's not worth the risk
Yeah but u got 5 yr warranty tho
even so i wouldn't risk it, and given how the rma requests are getting bounced around for months i wouldn't trust their willingness to honour it
I see
especially when 12th gen is cheaper and provides almost as much performance anyway
5600 maybe?
as long as you have the micro code bios updates installed and apply all the intel enforced limits the 13th and 14th gen should be fine.

well yeah but then you get 12th gen performance anyway
But why 12400
With ddr5
If u wanna keep it cheap with ddr4 it's normal but then why ddr5
12600kf is already quite a lot better than 12400f even if u don't go with 13th gen, the difference between 13600kf and 12400f is huge
Or just 7600 with ddr5 for upgradability ig
7600 is quite a bit costlier
