1070ti to rx580 sidegrade?

So my 1070ti has been running in nvlddmkm issues when specifically running anything DirectX 12.

Helldivers 2, Valheim, Arma Reforger all crash within 5 minutes of play.

I've reinstalled drivers, did that thing where you uninstall drivers then install fresh. And I'm just too computer illiterate to really put my mind to it.

An RX580 8gb is being sold near me for $40. Is this worth it? Is there anything I should know other than they were mining cards?

Extra info: how do I know it's DX12?

Valheim has a native Vulkan launcher option through steam. Did not crash at all.

Older games don't crash within 5 minutes.

I've also ran diagnostic tools and I believe the 3dmark free program to stress test the GPU and it came back fine.

Nevermind, the 580 8gb is about 50-60% the speed of the 1070ti.

Rx 580 is much slower

But it's a good deal for 40$
