I recently picked up some decommissioned desktops from businesses again and decided to put together this "gaming" PC for 0 (yes, you heard me right! Zero, noll, nolla) euros.

I used an old Dell Optiplex 7050 SFF with an i5 7500, 8GB DDR4 2400 and a 500GB HDD as the base of the build.

I had semi-recently traded some dumpster found parts (an old case, dead psu and the motherboard I have posted in the past) for an MSI GTX 750ti LP, so I decided to throw it into the PC. I sadly had to use a PCIe x4 slot as the 16x slot only allows a single slot GPU to be installed in these SFF Dells.

Then I also threw in a 120GB sata SSD from the pile of SSD:s I took out from old discarded laptops, which were also free.

So, the final specs turned out to be

i5 7500, GTX 750ti, 8GB, 120GB SSD, 500GB HDD

The machine scored 1972 points in Unigine valley, so it's mainly good for older games and those lighter e-sports titles.

P.S Yes, there's no sata power cable for the HDD just yet, I will be throwing in a sata splitter cable once I go back home in a few days. The cable is from another optiplex I got for free, so it'll still be a 0€ PC.

And as you can see, I made DIY low profile bracket for the 750ti, as I did not have one
