#can i make this build any better while keeping the price under 500?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I know you're trying to keep it under 500
But a 1TB SSD would be
much better
If you could add an extra 150 dollars
You could get an RTX 3060 and 1tb instead of 512GB
Depends what you do honestly
How much for jsut the 3060?
And the reason i eant it to be 500gb is cause i already have a ssd that i plan to use in it as well
just get a 14100f with some h610 mainboard
Would u mind linking that?
does it need to be amazon
Around 250 dollars
is this usa?
Yeppers
Part List - Intel Core i3-14100F, GeForce RTX 3050 8GB, Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L MicroATX Mini Tower
used will always be better
Thanks alot man
Thats streches a bit past my budget
Is there anyway to drop it maybe like 30 to 40 bucks
go for the 1660 super
On newegg or amzon
is this all new or are you upgrading a different build
All new
Well mostly new
as in upgrading or used parts
Some of its gonna be used
id go am4 then
U think incould find somrhing of similar performance for less?
Would u mind helping me?

"PRO" series CPU is compatiable DDR4 ECC UDIMM RAM. only CPU, Have Not Fan,Without Cooler. A320,B350,X370,B450 or X470 motherboard is suitable, but you maybe need update its BIOS version;.
Thanks alit man
One last thing can this fir in the case i have up top?
Are those mini itx cases?
do you have a board already?
atx is more common and will be easier to fit in most spaces (unless you have a height constraint, but at that point just turn the case on its side)
I need to out into a suitcase so id orefer it tk be as small as plausible
Ehats the smallest case this board can fit in?
why would you need it to fit into a suitcase?
Thats how im gonna get it where i need it
can you not build it where you need it
Yes but the case is gona getnherr viabsuitcase aswell
well id find a matx case, they can get kinda small
the only itx am4 boards im finding (which keeps you in budget) are way too expensive
Thabks alot for all the help man
np
tbh a micro atx case should fit your needs fine, its more of how the rear panel is oriented
thx i think a founda good one
what is it
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER, KOLINK Satellite MicroATX Desktop
i mean its a goofy ahh case imo but if it works for you it works for you
hoenslty id like somthin better lookin but i cant find any
not gonna find that many good semi-sff cases out there
i know itll stretch but turns out that 1660ti that i sent you before artifacts, i did find one for 125 shipped though
Yea saw him taliing. Abt having isseus
what abt this?
tbh id go for it
even though its a 1650s
evga is a reputable brand
(why did they have to leave the gpu market)
https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m45033891238 10 buck more for better performance
4gb vram isnt gonna get you much anymore
Used 3600 is like 60 bucks
Get a motherboard new, about 100
Used about 70
(I'd do new though)
https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m58103793936/ an even better choice
That gives you a better cpu and 60 bucks to work with
3600 cpu? caus i already have the 5600x
hes not
i might stick witht he ti
we shifted away from that plan
i want this from minecraft and elden ring
thats fair
but that super has higher clock with 6gb vram too
most of the demanding games dont interest me
elden ring can be pretty gpu-intensive from what ive seen
hoensts for 5 bucks more
i used a benching program
dont know if i should trust it
but ill be playing 720p and have no issue going low
oh if youre playing 720p i can go with a pascal gpu
hes on 720p, a 2060 isnt gonna do much more
migth upgrade in the futre
not to mention you can get better for around the same price (2080s for 125us)
1660ti or super will do you fine for a few years
but for now im prolly not going above the super u showed me unless its liek 10 dolalrs for waayyyy more perromance
Yeah
yep
I mean honestly speaking
its pretty pointless to go 2060 when 1660tis/supers are around
im used to playing games at 20 fps can considering it high
super will hold me for a while
budget
Yes but apu
Nono hear me out
also x3d isnt an apu
5800x3d is
-.-
hey man if it can run elden ring at above 30 fps i might be down
yeah go 1660ti
Ok 5800x has no igpu
5800x3d has a igpu
But newer and you can get decent performance out of it
5600x will perform fine for his needs
The 7840u at 20 watts can do endenring at 60fps
the gpu is stretching this already
yeah and thats a laptop
Without a dedicated gpu
laptop chips are more apu-balanced
I mean sure, but desktop has more power
5800x3d is cpu-biased, meaning the igpu isnt gonna be too powerful
Benchmarking the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G APU & Vega 7 integrated graphics in Elden Ring on an average gaming PC.
A lot of people have been talking up APUs as the best solution for gamers on a budget to tide them over until the Scalper Pandemic passes and graphics card availability improves. I’m usually more in favour of a good quality used GPU, but a...
thats a G chip
not an X chip
G/H chips are apus
no-letter and x chips are cpus
meaning you really need a card to run anything
While upgrading my personal gaming system with the new Ryzen 7 7800X3D and suddenly had a realisation… the 7800X3D chis come with a built in iGPU so you know we had to just see how well we could game on it.

No your right, I had somewhere in my head that the 5800x3d had integrated graphics
Yes, but I mean still it's not half bad for performance, and getting a better cpu to start, especially a microcenter bundle could help in the long run
Since they're only running 720p anyways
does microcenter even carry am4 stuff anymore?
Yeah
At least their online store
Remember 5700x3d
Because amd had bad 5800x3d fans but didn't want to toss them because expensive
So 5700x3d limited supplies
It's a bit expensive though
However what's not expensive (realitively speaking) is a ryzen 5 7600x with mobo and a 16 gig stick, 300
Yea i like the ltt discord server more
Buy another stick, get a basic cooler for it, a power supply, and a cheap case (cough free)
Trying to think
If this was 1080p I'd suggest a gpu, 720p though, you can get away with it, also forgot you're gonna probably want a ssd because I didn't think about that
Mmk
id rather upgrade a cpu later than a gpu
meh
1660ti is gonna lose updates in a few years
i have some room to from the 56 to a 9
im likely gonna have a whole new pc in a few years
True, just a point I like to state though
yea thanks for all the adivce both of you
Np
considering how long maxwell 1.0/kepler lasted, turing has a good bit of drivers left in it
yall are legit life savers
900 I think is about to be at eol
ik
and were at 5000
they both lasted right around 10 years
so weve got ~5 years of turing drivers
Hmmm, yeah I'm just doing bad math lol
I'm think oh it's got 2 maybe 3 years left, because cpus are yearly
fair, but gpus typically last longer than cpus
I know
I'm just tired so I did my math wrong
2+2 =3
Oh I guess TECHNICALLY I'm not wrong, I said a few, which is 3 or more :p
It's like 145 am
Soery to bother u again but i tried to do some price snipping
Is this till ok?
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L MicroATX Mini Tower
5600x needs a gpu
This one or the 2060 u sent maybe
Its jsut that oc part pricket wont shownthe true price so i left it out
Meh too laz6
