Hello everyone,

When i boot up my PC the computer, fans and lights all turn on but my monitors and anything that is plugged into the motherboard will not turn on for about a minute and 30 seconds. I thought it was a BIOS version issue so i installed the latest version and that did not solve the issue.

I was able to fix the issue by disabling XMP and my pc will boot within 10 seconds but i want to keep XMP enabled. Is this normal with XMP enabled? or do i have bad ram?

PC specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3D
Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX Mother Board
3080 TI
1TB 990 Samsung EVO
CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL36 Intel XMP

Try manually overclocking the ram instead of going to XMP, try in small intervals.

So what XMP does is overclock the ram, when you turn it back off you're turning it back to the base settings

You can manually increase the DRAM specs to attempt to figure out what it wants to limit out to without issues if you wanted to overclock it

I build this PC 2 months ago and this just started happening

So it worked with XMP orginally, then stopped?
