#Looking for some good AMD GPU settings for quality and clarity.

Just about all default only one in driver I recommend is RSR and that's only for games that dont have any built-in
AMD has it's own frame generation stuff that works pretty well with most games; i forget what it's called to memory but you should give that a try
only other thing to note is the game/other readers outside amd won't read the fps that amd ai drivers is generating (ie real fps 90 fps but 120-140fps with amd additional frame generation), its a good stop gap for added visual performance
That's actually what makes it look worse
(Upscaling)
it's not upscaling
There's not much we can help with, turn the graphics all the way up and see what your GPU can handle
if i was on my main pc i could check for what settings i have
well my gpu can handle everything just fine on max graphics and stuff, though sometimes with anti aliasing and stuff it can look a bit blurry especially stuff in far distances, but without anti aliasing the edges just look crappy and so there's no like in between its either blurry but good looking or clear and jagged.
RSR requires exclusive fullscreen to work and not just that its just an upscaling feature for performance which is something i dont want/need
What monitor do you have?
ASUS TUF Gaming VG27BH1B
1080p, 165hz (idk what panel)
I mean if you truly care about visuals then 1080p just aint it
problem is, with higher resolution comes a more expensive gpu, its a rabbit hole
oh i know that much, im waiting for one of the 4k Oled 240hz monitors to go on sale
well, a decent sale anyways
im just trying to see what i could do on the gpu end to make things more clear and have clarity and stuff, especially things in the distance
most guides are just performance stuff and i dont need that
I dont think there is a special settings combination to make it look crisp, turning all the settings up and not using upscaling / frame generation should make it look as good as possible. There is a high chance youre just not satisfied because of the monitor
which could very well be the case, but i do know there is some stuff in here that allows overides and stuff over graphic stuff
like some of this stuff
but idk what some of it does nor what method is the best for looks etc
i found the thing i was thinking of; fluid motion frames
these are my global settings
