Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, Montech AIR 903 MAX ATX Mid Tower
LOL
and you could get a 7900xtx for $60 less
Nice
is the 7900xtx really that much faster? i was under the impression they were basically equal
less than $1900!!

@rocky dove do you want matx for a smaller size or is atx good?
their 13th/14th gen cpus have catastrophic voltage problems
and there's no upgrade path at all on lga 1700
am5 is gonna be 2027+
matx has 4 expansion slots comapred to atx's 7
Should I trend toward 64 gb of ram
Or is that kinda overkill
Or for under 2k, is it hard to get 64

I assume I’ll get some good frames on like eldan ring for example
this thing will crush 1440p gaming
Bet
could spring for a 1000w psu if you want, but not necessary
Its only slightly faster. I find the toms hardware chart to be unclear and somewhat misleading at times
You think it’s worth upgrading to a Ryzen 9 instead of 7? Or not needed unless I’m trying to go overkill
the 7800x3d is the fastest gaming cpu money can buy right now
if you need to do other things like video editing and need more cpu power, a non-x3d cpu would probably not bottleneck the 7900xtx at 1440p
but it would depend on the game
if this is just for gaming though, the 7800x3d is a no-brainer
Grr dont say the b word lol
What’s wrong with it
