no just now
does it also happen at lower settings?
yea it does
im his friend
we cant figure it out
specs
yeah we need to know the specs
Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-13100F
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
RAM 16 GB CORSAIR Vengeance LPX
is it happening in multiple games and is the cpu fine?
cpu is not raptor lake
so its not one of the ones with issues
yes it is . But it happens in new like open world games or games with big maps. like cs go ect runs as expected
but the things is the fps is above 100 and stays decent
and yes the cpu seems to be having no problems
I know, I was thinking of bad thermals
have you tried to set a frame cap?
I feel so dumb for not trying this earlier. It seems to be working, but it has happened before then stopped stuttering for a bit then happened again so hoping this actually stops it. Thank you so much!
hm, that shoud be fine
my thought was the really high utilization might get close to the psu limit but I dont think a 500w psu would be a problem here
idk much about pcs but could be like an issue of not enough power or something sorry if im completely off
from like out of the computer or a cable
yeah, that was my thought
the psu is kinda old tho it might not handle the power spikes of 30s series and onward
Is there any way you can test this? Dont want to spend 100euros for it to not work.
I dont know if you can test this without another psu
btw you shouldnt need to spend a 100 bucks you can get good ones for quite a bit less
well it was just a amount
yeah
yea ill look into it might be able to get one from my friend
you could also probably return it if it doesnt work
yea in latvia you cant return anything almost the companies are too greedy
well i could order online
yea youre right thanks for the help you are an awsome person
thanks
if in case i will need a new psu could you recomend any by chance?
I have a corsair rm650x that should be great, for about 80 but really any newer 650w one frome a reputable brand should do
Thanks

this one is a bit cheaper and should be fine as well
Yea the price isnt that bad thanks for the 100th time. Was thinking I would maybe need a new gpu or something hope i wont
yeah lets hope it really was the psu
