Icue sucks, no aio is really worth 200 dollars. The 7950x3d is still not as good as the 7800x3d for gaming, and the ram is overpriced. 330 dollars for a b650 board is insane, strix or not. I sure hope you are transferring tons of files all the time because otherwise you wasted a ton of money on those ssds. For the amount of money it cost to get 2 of those you could have gotten a 4tb drive plus another 2tb drive. Power supply is absurdly overkill, 1000w at most would be adequate its at least not a bomb, but its insanely overpriced, you could have gotten a 1000w unit for less than half the price. Again, icue sucks. The h9 flow is a personal choice ig, but i personally hate nzxt products generally. Mediocre model of 4090 but like, there arent any particularly good ones under 2k anyways
#What do you think of my first build

Future proofing is bs
What kind of productivity
Also if you want to buy the 5090 when it comes out why are you buying a 4090?
If you absolutely need rgb there are much better options than icue
Then buy for what you need now, dont worry about "future proofing" thats all bs
Also the motherboard really doesnt have anything to do with what gpu you get honestly
Tbh, i would reccomend just getting a 4080 or 7900xtx rn instead of a 4090... 63 percent price difference from the 7900xtx to the 4090 and only 28% performance difference on average
I dont know what productivity you do though, you haven't said
Yeah duh
Most remotely modern gpus could power 4 4k monitors
Depends on what you actually are doing on the monitors tho
If u just want displays you can go much cheaper than even a 7900xtx
If you are trying to render yeah, you need something beefy
Again, please just tell me what kind of productivity you are doing
Actually first, before i spend anymore time on this, do you actually have any of this money right now? If not im wasting my time
So what applications are you using
Main work is in finance actually, accounting but you don't need a whole lot for that do you. I do software development as a freelancer and then I game as one does.
Flutter is a big one
Whats that?
No like what is that application
I looked it up and didnt get much
Just list all the main applications you use please
So i know what hardware you need to run it well
...
For all i know the software you use doesnt need a 14900k at all and can easily run on a cheaper cpu thats easier to cool
Thats why
If you arent rendering the 4090 is certainly unnecessary
Plus y'know the risk that comes with a 4090
The 7800x3d performs the same or better than the 14900k in games and uses less power
Any decently built pc will not be something to worry about for a few years
But can use over 4 times as much power under load
Which is the usual condition of a pc being used
Also lets not buy into intels marketing so much, the 14900k is 8 real cores with a bunch of crappy ones called e cores
:p
The 7950x is really good for blender, afaik the absolute best in cpu mode
Well yeah, afaik a lot of that is fixed now but the scummy way they dealt with it sucked
Do you know about the 4090 issues tho?
Connector not cable
Its a really bad design
Theres a chance of the connection bursting into flames under load due to the bizzare way they set up the pins
Its the only card that does it, since it uses so much power
Wdym?
Its with the 12vhpwr, the connector used to give power to the 4090
Its used in other nvidia cards but it isnt a fire hazard with those
?
No
😑
Btw
The 7950x3d is not the best of both
Its worse than either
Worse than the 7950x at productivity, worse than the 7800x3d at gaming
Only by a bit but just an fyi
