#XFX RX 6800 SWFT Low clock speed. Temps are good, power is good.

there's also this one which seems to match my bios version
so why is it not reaching base clock?
temperatures are okay and it's getting power from two separate 8pin pci-e cables
driver wise everything is up to date
same for windows
tried flashing a new ROM
same result
which is very weird
XFX RX 6800 SWFT Low clock speed. Temps are good, power is good.
to have it run at 1155mhz
Furmark
and dont say furmark
that nomral that makes gpus hit theere power limit at offen close to 50% nomral clocks
Will try 3D mark demo
Once I get home
Or superposition if it’s free
If I apply an OC + UV it gets to 2100 in furmark though. Not a counter argument just providing extra info
that anit going to happen
at least furmark dose not kill most gpus anymore
the days where gpus did not power power limits
i seeee
1175 in superposition
1080 extreme directx 99% gpu usage
pulling about 110W
my PSU is a seasonic focus GX 750w
1175 in steel nomad (3dmark) pulling about 120watts
no idea what could be wrong here
@wide portal what's the next step? (sorry for @ if you're not available)
check on 3dmark is that nomral
Nope
gpu only score or combined
Ah that’s the clock speed
Still even so why is the clock so much lower than advertised
whats gpu-z saying the limit
Clock? 2185 I think?
limiting it from clocking higher
senser
whats its saying limimt is
Is that under advanced
Last one with the loads was not while running
3dmark score is 1977; average is 3196
how much power its using
whats making it only use 50% of power limt
not sure
it has 2 pci-e 8 pins in
pci express link state power management is off
everything is default in amd radeon adrenalin
cables are plugged in properly
CPU is at 25% so no bottleneck
5600 OC and UV to ~4.6 Ghz
how?
and for the voltage you used curve optimizer right
not sure i just set something in bios to negative 15
ok
so yeah curve optimizer but i think all cores, not per core
last thing to check would be pci-e cables on the PSU side
but i'm 100% sure i've plugged them in properly
sooo i really don't know what might be causing this
even with another VBIOS it was only hitting that core clock
i have no refence
