PC just incredibly slow..

I really hope someone takes some time out of their day to read all of this.

Recently I became aware of some really nasty Trojan on my PC. I knew it was deep into the PC, as the whole PC just got slower and slower every day, so when I tried to factory reset it, it didn’t even let me (that’s how bad it was). So I went to the computer shop, got the whole thing manually wiped, wasn’t cheap, and now it’s back it seems to still be incredibly slow:

It’s weird. I have practically no files, and every little while the PC will begin to run fast again and process things at a good speed, and it quickly turns and goes slow again. My Wi-Fi speed is around 120 (download MBPS) and like 70 (upload MBPS) which isn’t incredibly high but it shouldn’t cause any issues. And I’m pretty sure it’s not WIFI as the whole thing is slow, offline tasks like opening settings included.

Here are my PC specs if you feel they might be part of the issue:

• 32gb: RAM
• Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690k CPU @ 3.50GHz: PROCESSOR

As I’m pretty sure you can tell, I’m not that techy, I don’t really know PCs so those specs might not really be in order or useful, but I’m trying my best lol.

Please, if anyone can call or just message back on this post about the problem and any possible solutions I’d really appreciate it.

btw, if someone sold you that drive a month ago they sold you an old drive because not only is that an old physical HDD which is going to be slow anyway, but it's in bad shape and has already had over 6300 hours of lifetime on it, which, well i dont need to tell you, doesn't happen in only a month

yeah i have a huge data hoarding addiction, i had to go thru and basically reorganize most of my "long term" stuff and put it into collections to store on super cheap backup cloud storage as a backup and have the local version on a non-mirrored drive

that way in case something happens to the local drive, my backup might take a bit to fully download but im in no rush

there's some variations of it, this one is for cloning 2.5/3.5" HDD and SSD to m.2 NVME , back and forth. there's ones with mroe bays and slots on them

you just have to stick the drive in, press a button, and it clones it

super easy and they are pretty cheap
