its missing standoff?
so there should be standoffs on all of the screw holes?
the old mobo held up with one
yes but different sizes of board have more or less and in other locations
shoud of came with case?
or do they come with board been way to long since i got new things
important to note this pc was built 14 years ago
it was handed down from my uncle after he moved to the netherlands
where the box and standoffs are i have no clue
you dont need all of them
looked around a couple boxes ive got
the motherboard one
didnt find a standoff
so i dont really have much of a choice
are pc part surplus stores a thing?
its fine if your missing a few
i have 3 holding my daily together
i do doubt the fact that its a problem with the standoffs though
this is a pretty old thermaltake case, old enough to have a dvd reader, could it be the size and layout of the case?
atx has not changed in 15 years
top right bottem right bottem left
good to know
are there any sand off in location where there no hole on board
ill see if i can get any surplus standoffs
theres only one so i dont think so
i should prob check it out
and i dropped my standoff in the psu
fuck
inside?
why is the PSU upside down?
i got it that way n didnt bother changing it
thru the fan
well this is very bad
thats too cursed even for me (the gif i sent) but yes
i just want to make sure, their was a hole or filter thing below where you put the psu
yes
good
puter all assembled, do i do anything before plugging the windows usb in?
probs not
gonna do a quick boot without so i can go into the bios to see the ver
turn on XMP/EXPO
yyup
thank you for reminding me
alright first boot here goes nothin
it started
its so quiet lmfaooo
resetting ftpm
yeah i did that
so it works
didnt even have to change my windows
do i install norton?
its an option on the gigabyte app center
ive already got bitdefender but is norton better
norton is closer to a virus
antivirus is kinda bull as windows built in and using your brain is WAY better
do not install that
i wont
btw reinstall windows
how about cfosspeed?
ive got a trial version on a usb
?
windows 10 trial on a 30 gig usb drive
windows dose not have a trial version just a download
aight
well then
i didnt know my license was retail
thought i would need to reinstall to access windows
you should just reinstall windows anyways
i have no clue what it is but it sounds usless
