this 1080 strix i have makes this weird clicking noise on the left most fan. I made sure the cable underneath it isn’t hitting it so i assume the bearing is at fault? Just want to confirm my suspicions to see what i should do to fix it, it’s more prominent at high rpm’s. sometimes not happening at all on lower rpm’s.

i might just disable the fan all together

if i can figure out how to do that without changing the others

i mean in

yeah u right

#

would you know how to set it to 0RPM all the time or do i need to cut its power

but if it is NEEDED then i have had to swap a fan on a 1080 strix card and its not too hard

tbh due to its age it might just be better to say sell it as a gpu with issues then buy a new one but if its not needed too some gpues you can remove a and it will still work

yeah that’s what i plan on doing, but i think i can set it to 0 and have the other fans work fine on normal curve

#

you can also do the normal 120mm zip tie fix

icy pumice
#

or that lol

fan control III i think might be able to do that

icy pumice

will check it out thanks

#

wasn’t able to i don’t get options for multiple fans on the gpu
