Good morning everyone!

I get these black lines on my monitor whenever I turn my PC on, and I don’t know how to fix it. My monitor has been around since 2021, so I’m suspecting it might be because it’s so old, but I have zero clue.

Will attach pic if needed - thanks in advance for the help!

Looks like the monitor is broken. Or the gpu. But most likely the monitor, judging from the pattern it might be a crack in the middle of the curved screen

maybe 2020

Sadly if it’s the case this can’t be fixed. A panel replacement (if you even find one) will probably cost as much as the whole monitor.

there’s no crack tho

#

so that’s good thank god

#

i think it’s an issue with the monitor itself

You won’t be able to see it as the crack or bend will be inside between the layers of the screen

Sadly that spot is common with curved screens, rough handling (or placing it facedown on a flat surface) can cause its own weight to damage it
