Minor Issue with Lian Li Lancool 2 Performance C Case

Hello! I have Lian Li Lancool 2 Performance C Case and it is paired with a MSI B650-P WIFI mb. My issue is that the Fan Controlling Hub (Which used to work as marketed) is now having each speed setting spin at 100% and only the Auto selection will lower fan speeds. I believe it may have something to do with how I have set up the fan connectors to the motherboard due to my lack of knowledge of it. I also have a Kraken Z63, I can attach photos of my bios as well as I've only recently noticed that only the pump RPM is registering.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Having a similar issue myself with the same case. Does your MOBO have any software that you have installed that has fan control in it somewhere? My Asus board has the "Armoury Crate" app which I installed to update drivers and that is when my issue started. Uninstalling the app made no change so as a workaround I just use the app with the fan controller set to auto since on my case all the other toggles turn my fans off.

I do have NZXT Cam install and MSI Afterburner, but I barely use MSI AB and Cam is more of a monitoring app

Maybe Im missing a BIOS update? but to me that doesn't make sense because how would a function work perfectly well and then suddenly have this issue as I haven't altered my build or bios since

Maybe.... always a good idea to check for a BIOS update but I'm not sure why that would be related to your fan hub not working. With the hub, your MOBO thinks all the fans on the hub are just one fan. Did you have AB installed long before this issue started?

Yea I've had MSI afterburner since I built the PC

I kinda just loaded it with everything I'd need n then never touched it

I think it may also have to do with my actual set up of the FHC because my rpms not appearing in bios is worrying me

Oh if the RPMs don't appear in BIOS it could either be the controller or it's just not properly connected to the connector on the board. Have you disconnected and reconnect the hub?

Just to double check, with my AIO (Kraken z63) the CPU fan isn't suppose to show any rpm right?

BC if not I think I might've just messed up the entire fan set up when I built it and the issue just never popped up until now

No, CPU fan should have no info. Your Pump or AIO (depending on how it is labelled in BIOS) should have some kind of info.

Your at least one Case fan should show some kind of RPM

So my pump is set up correctly, just the fan hub isn't

Which fan connector should the fan hub be connected to ?

and apparently I can download a MSI AI cooling app? I'm looking up my mb layout to locate each fan header

Might be worth checking out to at least get some monitoring going for the fans

There's no way I was that stupid

But then again I built it the same day I went to microcenter and it wasn't posting because of ram set up so maybe it was just tired haze

Any chance of getting support directly from MC or a BestBuy near you? Without seeing anything I'm not sure how much more help I could really be.

Sadly MC is an 1hr 45 away, best buy is a bit closer but last time I went to them they said my ssd was shot

Got it. OK So let's try just the disconnect and reconnect the HUB to the MOBO

sorry for the delay i took a quick second to get an amount of dust out

about to plug in and boot

apparently my audio cable and another cable were loose so it was a good time to do minor maintenance

Update: First boot with the cable being in SYS_FAN1 proves nothing with just booting, im now going to open bios and see if theres anything new

Good News! Fan 1 is now posting RPM

Auto setting on case gives RPM at 1000-1100 in bios
Every other setting gives 1400-1460
