#HELP WITH PC BUILD
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I'm pretty new to the pc building space myself but here are some modifications based off my own insight and the help I have received with my own build (in the thread below yours)
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, HYTE Y60 ATX Mid Tower
Reasoning for all changes:
CPU: Intel 12th gen is slightly older so it doesn't beat current gen amd cpus (especially if the pc is for gaming which I just kinda assumed tbh) And as you probably know based on your avoidance of 13th and 14th gen intel they both have massive issues rn
Cooler: Slightly more expensive but significantly more performant (based on results from gamers nexus)
RAM: Slightly slower clock speed but better CAS latency for a 10$ price difference isn't bad at all
GPU: PLEASE DON'T GO FOR FOUNDERS EDITION ITS 110$ EXTRA AND IF YOU ALREADY HAVE IT HIT SETTINGS AND HIT MARK AS BOUGHT PLZZZZZZ I BEG
PSU: Rated well according to ilovesolo in my own thread (#1265143332372353075 message), they based it on its placement on the "cultists psu list" and it is overall higher wattage similar efficiency 20$ less
Also what did you dislike about his changes? I have no clue what you generally want with your build based off of the info you have presented besides you are pretty adamant for unknown reasons about getting the founders edition of the 4070 super...
