Hey all! Its my first time building a PC and I dont really know where to start if im gonna be honest. I was wondering if theres any way if someone could help me find the parts to buy using PCPP because im kinda lost. I know about each part itself (motherboard, gpu, cpu etc) but Idrk what would go well together and what wouldnt. If I had any specifications Id perfer intel and nvidia since ive had a gaming laptop for 6 years and thats what it used for the cpu and gpu. I honestly just want a futueproof pc, that can run most games at 1440p 144 frames, and I dont mind spending aroumd 1500 - maybe 2000 (if thats possible) for it. Any help at all is appreciated, tysm!!!

Hello I'm willing to help you out
You have an amazing budget for what you want to do
You're most future-proof options are going to be on the AMD side though
Not to worry because AMD CPUs are actually more reliable anyway and there's no real adjustment process
@paper pagoda
I'll even guide you through building it when you get the parts
So just get back to me whenever and I'll help you part out of system
A system*
I do have a couple of questions for you when you get back to me
Thank you so much!
I dont mind going AMD its something ive never used before but if its better I really dont mind
In the future however if i want to upgrade and i choose intel is that possible? Like am I able to change out the cpu to intel and everything works fine and vice versa, like If in the future I had replaced my AMD with a intel, and I able to back to using AMD or does the motherboard, gpu etc prevent that? I dont really mind however if im only using AMD tho just want a good build
Intel and AMD run different motherboards
Oh I See
Get AMD because they will new AMD CPUs will use the same motherboard
But new intel CPUs will need a new motherboard
Really?
That sucks
AMD it is then
100%
Would there be any compatibility issues if I wanna use Nvidia tho?
Or would i need AmD Radeon for best peformence gpu wise
Well intel has problem with the following:
The socket bends the CPU 💀
Overheating, alot of it
Shit power efficiency
Fuck lot of stability issues
(Aka stuff crashing)
Security variability
GPUs don't care if the cpu is 10 years old or AMD or INTEL or Apple or whatever
It will work fine
Apple ☠️
Alr bet
Do u think i could make a pc for 1500
With what I want so far
150 Billion dollars in there pockets, still can't stop there CPU from bending 💀
🤡
@paper pagoda what country?
Do you live close to a micro centre?
Yeah
Lucky
Not rlly
Theres barley any around
Its like a hour away from me
But from what ive seen a lot of ppl have to deuve 4 - 5
☠️
But idk
@paper pagoda
Ye i saw
Get the one with a 7800X3D
Do u know how long the bundle last
It has been there forever
Not going to end soon
Wait
Wait
I forgot
Wsg
Should I wait then
U think theyll throw that in the bundle section or naw
Yeah definitely
Probably yes
Ok bet
For the gpu, do u know a good one that can help run games at 144 1440p?
Cuz thats mainly what I was trying to aim for
Rx 7900 XT
For 650$
Can i order that shit now
Like is it good for future
Cuz inwanna future proof it so i dont have ti spend money in the future to tey and keeo up
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Radeon RX 7900 XT, Montech XR ATX Mid Tower
@paper pagoda
Get this now then later maybe upgrade the CPU
Oh ok this is the full build?
Yes
Alr
Without moniter
Thats finr
I think there is a 7600X bundle here
It's like 100$ off
But i should be able ti olay at 144 1440p no prob right even if the cpu is not the latest one the one u put is still good right
It's a 4K GPU
Gyatt
It will tarsh 1440P
Nvm the 7600X bundle is trash
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Radeon RX 7900 XT, Montech XR ATX Mid Tower
@paper pagoda
This cooler actually
For two grand you can afford a way better CPU than that

Honestly even AMD doesn't know if the 9000 series will beat the 7800X3D so this will be an amazing system for years to come.
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, Montech XR ATX Mid Tower
No need to spend more then needed
He wants it to stay under 1500$
