Hello not so long ago i upgraded from an Nvidia 1060 GTX 3gb to a Nvidia 3060 RTX 12gb but to be honest i never really noticed a change in fps or smoothness or anything. Im not a big tech guy thats why Im asking here so please be kind 😄

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 / AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics
RAM: 16GB 
Motherboard: ASRock A620M-HDV/M.2
PSU: 650W
OS: Windows 11

you should get an improvement. did your settings default higher?

I didnt really notice that they changed, but on Nvidia app it says it did idk

if the graphics settings were increased, you would get less fps, possibly the same as with the 1060

capped or not capped theres not a big fps difference from what ive experienced. i even downloaded valorant to test 3060 on it and it gets like 400 fps in-game but when loading and choosing character its like 10 fps lagging and freezing everytime.
