dude
try lowering the speed a bit lower
i ran my ram like that and i had bsods too
I just ran another mem test but with one stick at a time and one of those sticks have hardware problems and the other doesn’t. So I don’t think it’s the ram speed.
Ight
Lemme finish this test and put both sticks back in
Might have to send this ram stick back for rma
I’m gonna run it on 6000mhz
If that doesn’t work then 5800mh
Why come here and ask for advice if your are gonna completly disregard the advice given @paper cairn is correct. Best way is to start at stock and work your way up, then when you get errors and instability, lower it down a bit till you dont get them
It was because when I posted this first I hadn’t tested the ram sticks individually and what I found online that made me to try it, I found after I had already posted. Now that I’ve done with the mem test, I am gonna try lowering the speeds.
lower to 5000 and go up
What would you use to test it?
Like is there a program or something that tests ram
Oh Ight
OCCT is really good for stress testing most hardware
I’ve done that and I’ve gone up to 6000 and it was working. Then I decided to jump straight to 6400mhz and it had the same issue
Now I’m testing 6200
good
6000 is the top end that I can do. Anything higher it would fail the mem test
I won’t RMA it
I’ve still got over a year on my warranty
well at least you managed to get it to 6000
