Being capable of Everything in the next few years, my current build is like 10-12 years old 💀

The Gpu is place holder Dont know which brand to pick , everything will be bought on amazon most likely so the price could fluctuate a little bit with taxes too.

At first I was going to get a pre-build because im lazy but the best pre-build i saw on amazon had a worst gpu, 5600 ram instead of 6000, slower ssd and unspecified motherboard/cooler for 3k$ so i put these pieces that are already better with lower cost.

Anything I could improve in the same price for better performance ? the things im unsure is the motherboard/cooler/ psu /gpu. thanks: D

you can also try a non-stock EXPO profile, running it at 6800CL32 might work, also wanted to make headroom in case he upgrades to an 11950X3D

11950X3D likely has 16 cores, probably meaning a higher TDP of 170W unless they make some BIG efficiency gains in Zen 6 over Zen 5.

yeah but can i still reach under 3k without cutting corners? because for sure with taxes im looking at 3.5k-3.6k its crazy the taxes out there lol

depends on how I feel, lately poe which is very cpu demanding, poe2 is coming so i wanna be ready for that. if a new pick my interest i would probably play it. my pc is 10 years atm so im limited but i would play better games if i could 😛

my psu that i had chosen originaly was also 850W with gold , why everyone changed it? the price or the one i selected first ( the msi one was bad )

also i selected 6000 ram because ive read that it was hard to go further than that and what is important alot is the CL and the one i had was cl 30

Also i want my pc to be very cold so i had a more expensive cooler at first but more expensive doesnt mean better so is this 1 better than the one i had in my first link ?

from my reading i would need to go bios set soc at 1.15v and increased if the test crash and then once this is stable set pbo at -20 and test from there right?

unless those post were old and with new bios update the cpu can be left alone with better temps

I think what would work best for me is having a list with the best i can have for 3k-3,5k and then i already have a ton of suggestions here to what i can choose from that is also good if i want to cut budget under 3k. I thought it would have been easier but there is like 4 differents opinions just on the psu alone lol

As long as it has a heat sink, it’s gonna be fine for the 7800x3d

ive read on reddit people with bad temps and that i will need to change pbo settings with soc settings and do a bunch of stress test to have good temps

Ryzen 7000 targets 95C but because of the way it’s architected, it can’t boost super high

Which is why it’s a sub 100w cpu

my goal when it comes to temps is max 70, i prefer gaming in 50-65 too.

This is a lot later but oh well:
jayztwocents made a video about computers and heat transfer, and talked about how if you run your fans faster to “cool down your room because the components have a lower temperature”, it usually has the opposite effect

Fun fact normaly the colder your cpu is the hotter your room becomes.
