Ok so I built my PC around Feb-March time and bought myself:

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

The other day through a family friend I have been gifted:

G.Skill TridentZ F4-3200C16D-16GTZB
(2x8GB)

And:

G.Skill TridentZ
F4-3000C15D-16GTZB
(2x8GB)

I do not know the background usage of the G.Skill ones so don’t know how well they’ve been treated.

Which ones should I use and which slots should I put them in?

What motherboard do you have?

Check for compatibility list of the motherboard, if either of them is not listed, you have problem solved

#

And for slots it's almost always second and fourth, but check your manual

If he asked for slots, he means to replace the old ones with new pair probably

so all 4 sticks running at 3200 and cl16 is good

#

then sell the pair of 3000MT ram

almost anybody has 4 slots, so if he has 2 slots free, he wouldnt ask
