What laptop do you have. Should be a manual or YouTube video showing where the battery is

Ya I don’t see any cmos battery in there. But apparently for some laptops the laptop battery will serve as the cmos battery as well. So if you remove the battery from the computer it’ll reset the bios. Did you remove the battery? And like what’s the background here like when did this start happening?
