#Need Help with deciding what gpu to get and if bottlenecking would happen.

the 6600 xt is the bang for the buck or a 6750 xt might also be great
do you have any suggestions for Nividia cards? I rather stick with it.
why?
dont want to deal with drivers from what I heard
amd cards are tbh better then nvidia as you will see a performance increase over time and get to use fulid motion frams
10 years ago it was an issue
i have had a amd card for a year now and have not had a singal gpu related issue
Ill keep it in mind. Do you know if a 4060ti would bottle neck a i7 9700k?
amd is just better
and its up to what game you play
a 6750 xt or 4060 ti will not bottle neck a i7 9700k in some games while other games like cs2 might get a massive performance increase with a better cpu witch some call a bottle neck
and a rx 6750 XT has 12GB of vram while the 4060 ti only has 8, most modern games need a minimum of 8GB to play at 1080p while you need 12GB to have a chance at 1440p
and games will just want more and more vram
and you can use amd fluid motion frams on all dx 11 or 12 games and its the same as nvidias dlls but you can actually use it in most games
Ill think about switching. Say if I got a 4060ti with 16gb for $450. and later on I switched my cpu for a better one. Would that be reasonable? I game at 1080p but for my 2nd monitor I have a 1440. I rather have frames than graphics
then go with a 6750 xt?
it is faster
300$

in what way?
i have bought over 20 used gpues and all of them came in the condition i was expecting
ye it might be worth it, but just remember the video was testing in the best gaming cpu in the world so you will not see close to this preformance for your pc in most of the games but it might be nice to get a good gpu now and upgrade as you go
just make sure your psu can handel it
I have a 650psu
I just want a gpu thats strong that will last me a long time and i can upgrade around it
ok nice
I will keep doing research on everything you told me. I appreciate the help!
no worry's, and remember amd is just better
good
AMD drivers being bad or shitty is a thing of the past and has been for a few years, AMD is the new FPS/$ king atm. But if you care about features like ray tracing or a good video encoder, Nvidia has the advantage in these fields
amd has issues with h264 aka super old codec while av1 and h265 is both as good as nvidias and when it comes to ray tracing most games do not even use it and the games that do it may be unplayable with ray tracing turned on with low end nvidia cards.
yeah, true. My 3060Ti struggled with RT in competitive games like Fortnite. Minecraft RTX ran fine but I don't play Bedrock
i like to play with MAX MAX settings in fortnite on my 7900 xtx and i still get a good amount of fps 120+ normaly
and when i use rastor at epic settings i normally get 240-360+ fps
My 4070Ti can get like 90-100FPS with MAX MAX settings at 1080p without DLSS. My 3060Ti could get that same 90FPS, but only in the battle bus and inside buildings. In combat I regularly dropped below 60FPS. Now I can actually do combat with RT enabled
i do se my 7900 xtx do 160 inside building but outside it is closer to 120 but its also up to where i am on the map what time it is and all that but people just need to stop with the stigma around amd gpues
yeah. Also what setting do you usually use for antialiasing? I don't know what all the different ones mean. I know FXAA, I've seen that in pretty much all my other games
TAA
TAA is the hardest to run but looks the best and going to FXAA is like a 60-100+ more fps some times
but lower quality
60-100 extra FPS? Damn! (I mean you have the best of the best AMD cards lol)
it can give
not that it might give but if i want to i can also use amd fluid mothing frams in ALL DX 11 and DX 12 games
yeah true. I could also use DLSS frame generation but I don't know if I'd want the extra latency for twitch-shooters like Fortnite
the main issue for DLSS is that games need to be made to support it while ALL dx 11 and 12 games suport amds fluid motion frames
almost no matter what amd is still better then nvidia and you cant really argue that.
only thing right now is just something like blender that is made with nvidia to allow for better use of their gpues over amds
