#What ssd should I get?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
the name on the motherboard is msi B550 GAMING GEN3, thanks!
OK, I can personally recommend the Crucial P3 Plus line of ssds. Available in different sizes (1 TB for 73$) https://pcpartpicker.com/product/chzhP6/crucial-p3-plus-1-tb-m2-2280-nvme-solid-state-drive-ct1000p3pssd8
You can also select your own country in the top right to see prices and offers in your currency
And also a notice: Your board only has one M.2 slot (the one required for nvme ssds) so if you want to get any aditional storage, you would either have to upgrade the ssd and transfer your existing data, or use significantly slower sata ssds
Okay thanks, I will look into the crucial, also thanks for the heads up that it only supports one m.2. I think I will be fine with 1 tb so thats no problem.
your welcome
That’s one of The worst recommendation you could possibly make
💩
Why?
If you know they're good, sure. But I know crucial is good and still not really expensive.
And I would appreciate it if comments like the one from @shrewd swift would come with a reasonable explanation, in order to inform the OP in his/her options and not just throw shade.
High speeds, has dram.
