It’s hard to do 1440p 240hz for 1k dollars. Were you looking for 1080p?
what would be the price for 1440p 240hz and i could also go for 1080p if it was a lot cheaper
you should opt for 1440p 120 or 144 hz, as they give the best value and personally there's a tonne of a difference between a 1440 and a 1080p monitor, so get the 1440p instead
so
is your currency cad?
or USD?
problem is you ain't getting 240hz on 1440p with a 1k budget
usd
alright
I'd do 1250 for 1440p 240
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Radeon RX 7900 GRE, Phanteks XT PRO ULTRA ATX Mid Tower
On mid settings
alright i check it out
any way to cut down on the gpu price?
time for the mongol of #tech-chat-1 to give you the worst possible PC Build list possible 🛐
1000 what, USD, EUR?
usd
1440
60fps? 144fps?
144
👍
I'd say 1700 would be ideal for 1440p/144

You could theoretically get away with 1300, if you really wanted to.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2CFHHG 1300. PC 7800XT Is faster than the 4070, cheaper too. AM5 gives you longevity on AMD Chips, if the AM4 socket is anything to go by. Should be a quiet and fast as fuck PC Build

overkill cpu cooler
could save on that and get a better ssd

ya the cooler is expensive
idrc
if it’s a bit loud
and the gpu seems a bit overkill for me
Well, you said 1440p 144 fps
I am more on the side of quiet and efficient
that's how I built my PC lol
alr
yes, but you dont need a 70$ cooler for that in a 1300$ build
a pure rock slim 2 is also quiet and only 25$
also where could i find some used parts
ebay / fb marketplace
alr i check it out
That's pmuch an equivalent build for me.
cuz I am using a 5600x and a Dark Rock Pro 4. lol
thats overkill
mine is overkill is overkill awell, but i still woudlnt recommend some random guy to get something overkill, i have a 12600k and a 280mm aio
At least it gives some head room and some kind of futureproofing if they do decide to upgrade their cpu to a higher end model :P
7800x3d is efficient
guys would a 7600x be good for this build or is the 7800x just a lot better?
then get a 40$ cooler
because in my eyes, getting a new CPU Cooler with a new CPU is just a waste of money
I'd say get the CPU / GPU used
If you’re spending $70 on a cooler get a 360 aio
in this instance 7800x3D and 7900XTX
alright
fuck Watercoolers
Why?
360mmaio > $70 air cooler
70$ air coolers are pmuch as effective as aios
i wouldnt trust a 70$ aio
I didn’t say get a $70 aio now did I?
kind off, but not 100%
I said get a 360mm aio
.
I'd rather get an 70$ Air cooler and buy more fans to promote good airflow in your PC.
No cooling 🧠
You don’t get much benefit out of more then 3 fans realistically
guys for the gpu all i need from it is to get me like 100 on like more demanding games but for like cs and less demanding games like at least 200
Your minimum fps with the 7800XT is going to be already in the triple digit range
This is for 1440p?
Should be okay
