When playing games (under load) the PC will operate as normal for a short while, and then all the monitors cut to black, something makes a single click noise, and every fan in the PC goes to 100%, I can still hear the audio, and you have to turn the PC off via the power supply switch.

Sometimes it can take 20-40mins to go black, sometimes it can take 20seconds, it varies.

What I have tried and had no success with:
Updating BIOS and all other drivers (chipset etc…)
Using DDU to remove the GPU driver and then install the latest
Cinebench CPU test (didn’t cause a crash)
Uninstalled GameInput Service, Reinstalled and set startup to automatic
Downloaded Microsoft .NET framework and Microsoft Visual C++
Disabled Windows game bar and game mode
Individually testing each ram stick, and lowering the ram frequency

You could use event viewer to see what caused the crash

#

And also you should do a full stress test including GPU

#

If it crashes when you do that pretty good indication power supply is the problem

#

Wait a minute

#

Did you check the temperatures during gaming

For GPU or CPU?

CPU is normal tho

And that’s solved how? Or is it just time for the gpu to take a knee? I mean it’s 7yrs old

I have great airflow in case

GPU should not be 98 degrees

It’s clean

#

I clean it monthly

#

You think it’s the gpu?

trim light
#

It is the GPU overheating that causes it to crash but I'm not sure why it's overheating

#

Btw your build looks nice
