Those are screenshots of my pc. Those are my files and I have a 1440p monitor on the left and 1080p on the right which also matches the screenshot. In the email they also sent my HWID
Gotcha, in that case, best pave n nuke the system (reinstall Windows) and change EVERY password to EVERY account using a known-safe working computer.
Ok got it
Ya did you use the same password for those accounts that got hacked? I’d say try out a password manager, the one that’s recommended a lot is Bitwarden. Basically all you have to do is create one secure password for Bitwarden to get into it, then it can generate and store the login credentials to all your accounts. Plus it’s free. If you’re going to go around making new passwords for all your accounts I think it’s easier and more secure to use something like that tbh
I was using different passwords before but I guess whoever got into my PC also got into my google password manager which is annoying. I will definetly give Bitwarden a go
Cool, ya when creating your main password for Bitwarden it’s recommended that you use either a pass phrase or a random sentence. So this website explains one way to create a pass phrase. The reason you use dice and stuff is just because that allows you to get an actual mathematical measure of how hard your password is to guess. Which is nice to know. The other more recommended way is to just use a random sentence that’s at least 20 characters long and easy to remember. Some examples are: I went to 7-11 earlier today, rogerjumpedoverthepurplefox, 2belivingtherockandrolllifeforever. https://www.eff.org/dice

👍
Also most antivirus can purge ransomware pretty effectively so try a malware cleanse
might also be worth it to alert your bank
oh nah
i was going to say that
I think whoever this is isnt legit enough to want to mess with my bank
i would infortm them incase any money leaves then you coudl soem how get it back
You should also think about how they got access to your PC in the first place. If you're downloading games from torrents or sketchy websites, that could have been how they got a foothold.
Change your behavior if the above is true in some way or it's likely to happen again.
