This is because its getting 99% on playing very resource intensive games and makes watching stuff on my 2nd monitor extremely annoying and laggy.
specs
Ryzen 9 5900x
32gb 3200mhz ddr4 memory
1x2tb HDD, 1x2tb SSD, 1x512gb SSD
RTX 2060S
corsair 650W psu
2x27'' monitor, 1 is 1080p, the other 1440p
Country?
netherlands
6800xt-7800xt
Maybe even a 7900xt
If you really want nvidia a 4070 ti is good
Oh wait I didn’t see budget

Could get a 7900xt since they’re around €645
i prefer 12gb+ cards since my current one is 8gb and i dont like it
Why
What country u from
The vram isn’t what is limiting
Netherlands as he said before
Both my suggestions were 12+
Good suggestion
7900gre is the obvious pick here with 16gb of vram double your current
Yeah
but
We need to know the rest of the specs
To avoid wasting money in a bottleneck
@edgy pagoda
1 sec
lemme get a pic
my game is starting so i can get a picture of the gpu usage
gpu usage
wouldnt let me crop image
its fine
the game i play always maxes out ram
even if you have 2tb it uses it all
its not optimized
ok
yes thats the 2060s standard amount
Star Citizen
i play minecraft too
star citizen graphics settings
star citizen is like gta 6 level graphics
star citizen is modern
but it dose not require a powerfull gpu
just look at these graphics and high quality texture
only gpu stuff
ik
pls read the first message in this thread
.
"This is because its getting 99% on playing very resource intensive games and makes watching stuff on my 2nd monitor extremely annoying and laggy."
and it seems like u dont need an upgrade
whenever i game i watch movies or youtube on my 2nd monitor
when playing resource intensive games
it should always be like this
it buffers a lot
i recommend that u use the cpu gpu if u have a cpu with gpu
becuse u make the main gpu for the games
you cant just pick and choose
and the cpu for the second moniter
you can only use 1 at one time
u can if u have intel
.
well i did it on my pc
integrated graphics isnt enough to watch a video at 1080p consistently
i already have 2 moniters
and i do use my second one for the cpu gpu
and it dose work
no dude
Don’t send individual texts for each word
Doesn’t matter, it depends on the game
Like for helldivers and the finals usually the cpu gets maxed bc those are cpu intensive games
well yes but it is healthy
and at least it needs to be more than the cpu usage
dota 2
uses more cpu than gpu
but i dont think 83 degrees celsius is good for my gpu
no
No
It’s probably really bad it cooling itself
u need thermal paste man
Small heatsink bad fans
and a good one
this is ur problem
gigabyte card
New gpu anyways
Gigabyte makes good cards, but not known for cooling performance
for u
Dude
It depends
We need to know full specs
And
A better one will last longer
man i dont know
Go to the cpu tab in task manager and show us
he only plays 2 games
Still
The 3060 won’t last as long as a 7900gre and if you get into a game that is more demanding it will be worth it
In the long term the 7900gre is better in every category
well how did u come with this answer
Even a 7900xtx will be good
😂😂😂😂😂😂
i know
and ur talking about if he plays i asked him already what he plays so i can know for what games is he going to play
but he can go for ur gpu i mean but i dont recomend amd bad drivers
And if you do, a 7900gre will suit you better in the long term
What
What bad drivers
i did dota 2 for 16 year
Neat
but its alright
If you want nvidia a 4070 super is good
but i disagree with u
It’s a personal opinion
for 2k this card
yep
i already have an old amd
i cant find
drivers
for it
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
And there is nothing wrong with amd
Are you 3?
Your acting like it and are struggling to complete sentences
I doubt you know anything about what your talking about
hey lets not fight in my thread
My apologies
@dense plaza stop it
If it’s an old card ofc it’s not gonna have drivers
well i have an card older than the amd i have and there is still drivers
What model is it
they make good CPU's
They make good everything
i agree with this point
That’s is a very old card
but bad gpus
Well when they are new
for nvidia
R9
Star citizen had a promo for anyone who bought r9 in 2014
i can still go to nvidia website
But that’s not amd is it
I know
than the amd i own
No
What is your logic
there is no world that can describe u man im saying that i have 2 old gpu one from amd and one from nvidia and both are old and i cant find the amd drivers but i can find nvidia
You can’t say amd is a bad company because of some problem only you have
No seriously you lack common sense
It’s not bad for the long term now
When amd was starting out ofc they were struggling
Look at Intels arc a770
It was awful at the start
baby
It’s improved drastically
just for ur info
?
nvidia have 0 competion this is why nvida prices are high right now becuse no company have good gpus
yes its improved but that dose not mean that it is good
They are around the same price
Whatever you want, can be nvidia or amd, but a 7900gre is what I recommend
becuse the 50 series coming in 2025
I mostly play star citizen but im not sure how fleshed out AMD support is
I also sometimes play MSFS in VR
I have a friend using a 7900xt in msfs
It’s good, but that is a hard game to run too
A 3060 is bad in every scenario
It’s rare when amd has bad optimization in a game
<@&750150305383186585> rule 2 and 4 on @dense plaza
Okay what is going on here
lol that’s exactly what I had
In msfs I went from 15 fps avg on a 3060 to 90 fps avg on a 7900xt which is considered very high
It is I know many people who play sc on amd cards
Soooo we’re a nvidea fanboy
You can’t be serious
I have friends who play sc on rdna4
They say it’s great
I already kinda assumed they were a troll
So i should get 7900xt or gre right?
Yeah either of those 2 depending on budget
Kk
GRE if 600 or less
👆
i dont think a 4060 will bottleneck a 5900x and even if it did, i highly doubt its gonna be a noticeable bottleneck if your not looking out for one
cough r9 390 driver days cough
A 4060 still shit pick do
@dense plaza brother wtf are you yepping about?
also ik its still shit i was just saying i doubt it would bottleneck a 5900x
Oh haha no 5900x should be fine with p much all modern gpus
Even a 4090 shud be allg
so 5900x + 7900gre is fine?
